As a young boy, Peter lived above his family´s fish and chip shop with his parents and sisters. As he grew older, to earn some pocket money, he would work in the shop preparing and frying the chips.
On his fathers advice, Peter was encouraged to pursue a career in accountancy and worked for several companies in London. With the experience and knowledge gained working for different companies, it lead him to believe he should setup his own company, fulfilling his life time ambition.
In 2004, Peter saw an opportunity to start his own company, Fresh-Cut Fruit and Veg Ltd. This time memories of his childhood, preparing chips for the fish shop, has now turned to a much larger scale for customers all over London.
From the success of this business came the opportunity to collaborate with Culinary Olympic Chef Omero Gallucci, hence the launching of Mama Gallucci Soups, in a new purpose built, state of the art, soup production unit, based in Basildon. |
